Abstract - Reconstruction of the unknown boundary/transmission boundary of the background medium and its physical property

Author: Gen Nakamura

Title of the contribution: Reconstruction of the unknown boundary/transmission boundary of the background medium and its physical property

Abstract:
In recent 10 years several reconstruction schemes have been introduced to identify the unknown boundary/transmission boundary of the background medium and its physical property. They are the linear sampling method, factorization method, probe method, singular sources method, enclosure method, no response test and range test. These methods are numerically realized, still actively studied by many people and creating new problems. The speaker has been working especially on probe method, enclosure method and no response test.
The aim of this talk is to show some of the recent applications of these methods and the possible links between all of these reconstruction scheme.
