Title of the contribution: An a-posteriori stopping rule for regularized Newton methods with random noise
Abstract:
We consider the solution of nonlinear ill-posed operator equations by regularized Newton methods when the data are perturbed by random noise. We discuss an a-posteriori stopping rule and show that it leads to optimal rates of convergence up to the qualification of the underlying linear regularization method both in a deterministic and in a stochastic setting. Numerical experiments illustrate the performance of this stopping rule.
