Karl Kunisch (University of Graz)
Self-regulation mechanisms arise in nature and have played a central role in the development of human technology. Feedback loops are an essential tool for the stabilization of dynamical systems, and its mathematical study requires techniques stemming from dynamical systems and stability theory, partial differential equations, optimization, and numerical analysis.
The aim of this workshop is to gather leading researchers in feedback control, from both theoretical and computational communities, to share the latest developments in the area. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: feedback control and controllability of systems governed by partial differential equations, optimal feedback control and dynamic programming, control design for agent-based models, and computational methods for high-dimensional feedback synthesis.
