Localized potentials in electrical impedance tomography
Workshop on Bioimaging II / PDEs, Tue, 20 Nov, 2007
Speaker: Bastian Gebauer
Abstract
In this talk we consider electric potentials inside a body that are
generated by applying boundary currents. We show that their energy can
be concentrated in almost arbitrarily subsets. Besides technical
applications, such potentials can also be used to obtain theoretical
identifiability results in impedance tomography and also to construct a
simple reconstruction method, that is closely related to the so-called
factorization method.
