  • 2000-2001 Visiting Assistant Professor, Texas A&M University, Department of Mathematics
  • Aug. 2002 - Sept. 2004: Start Project "hp-FEM"
  • Winter term 2003/2004: Guest professor TU Kaiserslautern
  • Sept. 2004 - March 2006: Research Scientist in the Group "Direct Field Problems" at RICAM

  • finite element methods: hp-FEM, mixed methods; fast solvers: multigrid, domain decomposition; applications: Maxwell equations, elasticity; design of finite element software
