Research:
I am working on the mathematical analysis of partial differential equations and more precisely in the following areas:
Here, you can find the text of my habilitation Publications (in PDF)
Projects:
I. As a principal investigator.
(a) Unique PI: 'Electromagnetic Scattering by Complex Interfaces'. Funded by the Austrian
Science Fund, FWF (09/2010 till 08/2013).
(b) With Gen Nakamura: 'Inverse problems for connected beams'. Funded by the Japanese Society for Promotion of Sciences, JSPS, as a part
of my postdoctoral fellowship (05/2003 till 05/2005).
II. As a participant.
(a) 'Computational Inverse Problems and Applications'. Funded by by the Austrian
Science Fund, FWF and led by Heinz Engl (09/2006 till 03/2008).
(b) 'Magnetic Resonance Electrical Impedance
Tomography'. Funded by the BK21 program of the Korean government and led by J. K. Seo (univ. Yonsei, Seoul) and E. J.
Woo (IIRC, Seoul), (09/2005 till 08/2006).
(c) 'Computation of travel time of acoustic waves propagating in a stratified waveguide.' Funded by the French oil company Elf-acquitaine, Pau, and
led by Yves Dermenjian (univ. Provence, Marseille, France), (10/2001 till 03/2002).
Teaching:
Lecture notes of the course 'An introduction to mathematical methods for continuum mechanics' given at JKU, Linz, during the winter semesters of 2008 and 2010.
