Abstract	We will present the new version of Singular (3-0-3) and report on - general implementation: availability of Singular as a library with GPL as license for all parts - the non-commutative kernel subsystem was rewritten for more efficient handling of the important special cases of super-commutative (and exterior) algebras - improved libraries: faster algorithms for primary decompositions, and for invariant rings of finite groups, etc. - modular computations over the rationals: ideal of points, general Groebner bases. - Groebner bases in polynomial rings over general rings and efficient handling of zero divisors: Groebner bases and standard bases (for local and mixed orderings) over general rings have been developed and implemented (for some special rings such as Z/p^n for use in hardware verification) by Oliver Wienand.
