The conference took place at the St. Wolfgang Federal Institute for Adult Education (BIfEB - Bundesinstitut für Erwachsenenbildung) located right next to the shores of the Wolfgangsee close to the picturesque town of Strobl in the heart of the Austrian Alps.

Despite the fact that the institute belongs to St. Wolfgang it is closer to Strobl (where signs are leading you to the Bundesinstitut für Erwachsenenbildung).

• Arrival by plane

• Munich Airport
  From Munich Airport take S-Bahn S1 to München Hauptbahnhof (train departures every 20 min, travel time: about 45 min). Go on by train! (At Munich Airport you can also rent a car. A list of car rental companies situated at Munich Airport can be found here.)

• Vienna International Airport
  From Vienna International Airport take bus number 1187 to Wien Westbahnhof (bus departures every 30 min, travel time: about 40 min). Go on by train! • Train

• München Hauptbahnhof
  At München Hauptbahnof take a train to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (travel time: about 2h). Go on by bus!

• Wien Westbahnhof
  At Wien Westbahnhof take a train to Bad Ischl (via Attnang-Puchheim, travel time: about 3h 45 min) or to Salzburg (travel time: about 3h 15 min). Go on by bus!

• Bus

• Salzburg Hauptbahnhof
  The bus terminal is close to the central station. Take bus number 150 to Bad Ischl Bahnhof and step off at Strobl Busbahnhof (after about 1 hour 15 minutes). Take a look at the bus schedule (pdf) to learn more about the route.

• Bad Ischl Bahnhof
  The bus terminal is close to the central station. Take bus number 150 or number 2560 to Salzburg and step off at Strobl Busbahnhof (after about 25 minutes). Take a look at the bus schedule (pdf) to learn more about the route.
