of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Linz, Austria

RICAM is a well established mathematical research institute located on the campus of the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria.

In the new working group

Mathematical Methods in Molecular and Systems Biology

to be established at the Vienna biocenter, one post-doctoral position is currently open.

The successfull candidate should have a strong background in applied mathematics (nonlinear partial differential equations, inverse problems, ...) and will be required to participate in interdisciplinary collaborations with molecular/systems biologists, physicians and/or other life scientists.

The position will be of three year duration and is expected to commence in Spring 2009. One renewal for three more years is possible depending on achievements. The working language is English.
